How to Play Realistic Home Defense — First Match

How do I start as a new player?

Install Roblox, open the IBA UPDATE link ( which version if unsure)—free on the Roblox page. You start in lobby/menus, not a live round. New to the mode? Read what Realistic Home Defense is first.

Step 1 — Press PLAY to queue

The main menu row in footage reads PLAY · LOADOUT · STORE · SETTINGS · TUTORIAL, with ROUND STATUS: LOBBY and lines like 10 here • PLAY finds you a match. CURRENT MAP rotates (ISLER GARAGE, PORT OSAKA, etc. in different clips).

PLAY starts matchmaking while you stay in lobby. TUTORIAL is on the same bar; what it teaches step-by-step is not confirmed yet from the clips we have.

Step 2 — Set LOADOUT for both sides

Hit LOADOUT before you queue seriously. You will see:

• Tabs WEAPONS, UTILITIES, MELEE, PERKS, SKINS, CUSTOMIZE
• DEFENDER and INVADER toggles
• BUILD 1 (ACTIVE), BUILD 2, BUILD 3—one example active build is PPSh-41 + PPQ M2
• GET MONEY pointing at the cash loop

Text on screen starts with An active build of a side is what you spawn with… Set builds for both sides so you are not stuck with defaults if the game flips your role.

Step 3 — Warm up on the SHOOTING RANGE

While you wait, you are often on the SHOOTING RANGE: Target Dummy lanes at 20 M, 40 M, or 10 M, a BALANCE line, [M] MENU - BUY NEW GUNS AND UPGRADES, NEXT MAP banners (MAPLE STREET, PORT OSAKA), ROUND 1 OF 2, and No rounds here - PLAY finds a match when no live round clock runs. One dusk clip also shows PERK - TALENTED HANDLER.

Step 4 — Read your objective when the round starts

Defenders also get [F] Study Close on doors and FRAG x1 [G] on the HUD. Map votes and round structure: game modes .

Step 5 — Fight, spectate with J, spend cash

In combat the HUD shows weapon names, Semi or AUTO, ammo, and cash pops like +$85 Headshot on an M&P15 clip—money adds to BALANCE.

Dead but the round continues? SPECTATE [ J ] shows on the range HUD and on a Maple Street aerial view (MAPLE STREET - 2:34 in one frame).

Between rounds, [M] MENU - BUY NEW GUNS AND UPGRADES opens purchases on the range. Group bonuses, Robux packs, and win payouts (PARTICIPATION +$25, TEAM WIN +$50 in other footage) sit in cash and money multipliers .
